Greetings everyone! Please take a few minutes to read this important message and watch the video.
Today is the first day of the New Year and the dawn of a new day. Today, I have some big news—and big changes—to announce about the project. You can read this post, or you can watch the video and get essentially the same information J But I suggest you do both. I’m much better at saying things through writing than I am on video.
I spent a considerable amount of time thinking about my life these last few days, and I have decided that I need to step down from the leadership position of Magic Kingdom Hearts. After much consideration, I realized that my life was being pulled in other directions, and that I needed to focus on my school and other passions. Some things just recently came up in my personal life that demanded my time and energy, and, as a result, I’ve decided that I must step down from the leadership position of this project.
I love PROJECT: Magic Kingdom Hearts, and it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to do this. But don’t worry! The project is not ending with me. Several of our cast members have decided to follow in my footsteps by launching a revised version of the project, called RE: Magic Kingdom Hearts. This is, essentially, the same event, but it has its own website and its own Facebook page as well. I have given this revised movement my full support, and I hope that you will go “like” and register on their website and show them your support as well. I know they have plans to make this event even bigger and better than it was last year.
The first event was a HUGE success! I cannot say that enough. We had over 120 fans attend, and we had the night of our lives. These last couple months, I have been bombarded with love, letters, private messages, and gifts, from fans who attended—and loved—the project. I cannot thank you guys enough. We did the impossible with this event, and I know that this new revision of the project will continue to do even more impossible things.
Though I will always be the founder of this movement, I am no longer in control of it. Our cast member, Roxas (from Kingdom Hearts Memes) is now in charge of this movement. This RE: Magic Kingdom Hearts event is now a reflection of him, just as PROJECT: Magic Kingdom Hearts is a reflection of me. The PROJECT: Magic Kingdom Hearts page will no longer be updated, and neither will the website or other social networks. However, I encourage you to keep the pages “liked” so that you can look back at all the pictures and remember the memories. I have plans to make the documentary from the first event, which I will be sure to post on the original website and Facebook pages (and I’m sure that RE: Magic Kingdom Hearts will share it as well). It may take me a few months, but I will make it. It will be the ultimate time capsule of memories that we made on October 25th, 2013.
I know that this news may be sad to some. It is sad for me, too, but this is not the end of the movement. Please go check out RE: Magic Kingdom Hearts (links are at the bottom of this post) and “like” them. I’ll be attending RE: Magic Kingdom Hearts 2014 and can’t wait to see everyone there.
For those of you wondering about the fate of PROJECT: Disneyland of Departure, let me assure you that Roxas currently has plans to go through with it. I realize that we just announced the movement, and I hope that it is something that will still happen in conjunction with the event in Florida. There is a small *small* chance that it may not happen, but I have faith that it will. And in the odd chance that the CA project does not happen this year, feel free to host a mass gathering of Kingdom Hearts fans at Disneyland on the same day as the RE:MKH event and just go have fun!
If you have any questions, please message me and I will help clear up any confusion you may have. I know that this news is sudden, and likely saddening. And I assure you that I feel the same way.
But more than anything, I want you guys to continue to strive to get Kingdom Hearts into the Magic Kingdom (and other Disney parks). Please go check out RE: Magic Kingdom Hearts and enjoy this new take of the project this year. It’s a fresh start, and it will be a lot of fun J
If you all want to keep up with me (Cutsceneaddict), personally, then you can follow me on Tumblr here (http://cutsceneaddict.tumblr.com/) and on my writer/author Facebook page here (https://www.facebook.com/caseylynncovel?ref=hl).
So, everyone, keep dreaming. Keep doing the impossible. And even though I’ve retired the original PROJECT: Magic Kingdom Hearts, this new version of the project will live on (and you can bet your Seasalt Icecream that I’ll be there, having fun with the rest of you!).
Thank you all for understanding. Sometimes life happens, as it has now, and we must set aside certain things, albeit with a heavy heart. I admit, right now I’m teary-eyed, typing this out. In saying “farewell” to the leadership of this project, I feel as though I am parting ways with a good friend. But my heart is so glad that this project will not end with me—that my dream will continue through RE: Magic Kingdom Hearts—and that I will be able to meet up with you all again this fall.
Thank you for your love and support. Now go “like” RE: Magic Kingdom Hearts and go register on the new website! If you already registered on the original website, make sure you re-register on the new one, just to be safe.

Thanks for the memories, guys. I hope that you all will continue to look back at the original PROJECT: Magic Kingdom Hearts event with smiles, laughs, and good feelings. Looking forward to seeing you all at the new event this October!
Connecting Kingdoms. Connecting Hearts.
“It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.”
Thinking of you, wherever you are…
